Model Making Taster Session

Thanks to the generosity of our funders, the Model Maker Space is proud to be delivering four hands-on model making taster sessions that bring creativity, focus and connection together. Each session will offer a relaxed and supportive environment where participants can try their hand at building detailed models, learn new techniques and take pride in creating something with their own hands. These workshops are specially designed to help improve dexterity and fine motor skills while offering a positive and purposeful activity for men who may be experiencing loneliness, isolation or poor mental health and wellbeing. Beyond the practical skills, the sessions provide a valuable chance to share conversation, build friendships and enjoy a sense of belonging within a friendly community setting. Whether you have years of experience or have never tried model making before, you’ll find a welcoming space to relax, learn and reconnect through the joy of making.
